The location by the lake was simply beautiful for us. Plus, it was conveniently close to hiking trails, grocery stores, and restaurants, as well as the mountains. 🌄.

Its location was great and lovely, really close to the lake as well as Lake placid town center. Plus, Niagara Golf Trail was not very far from the hotel.

This hotel has a fantastic location near restaurants and shops, with helpful and very friendly staff, and the room was beautifully decorated featuring a king-size bed.

The staff here is really friendly and quick to help when you need something. My room was a nice size and had a lovely decor. It came with all the essentials too, like utensils, a coffee maker, and a mini fridge, just as advertised. 😊.

I really enjoyed my stay here, as my room had a stylish design, a comfortable king-size bed, and came equipped with a microwave, while the lobby offered a fantastic spot for breakfast.

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Placid Bay Hotel! the newly updated room with a king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. Plus, the hotel is centrally located by the lake, making it easy to explore the area.

The hotel is in an awesome area, close to Lake Placid town center, Whiteface Mountain, and hiking trails. the staff were very helpful, extremely friendly, and knew how to help.

The room was large and had all the essentials like a shower, hairdryer, and bath sheets. Having a convenient kitchenette was a great addition. the hotel's location near restaurants and stores was fantastic. Additionally, being only a 10-minute drive from a multi-purpose arena was a big bonus.

The room had a stunning view of Whiteface Mountain, which made for a memorable experience. The motel is modern and well-equipped with amenities like a fridge, Keurig coffee maker, and a big TV. The beds were comfortable too. I loved having ALEXA in the room, which allowed me to easily play my favorite radio stations and music. The location was convenient, just a short drive from the village strip and with breakfast right across the street.

Even though there were a few downsides, like the smallish rooms and tight parking, these were minor inconveniences that didn't affect my overall experience. For a night or two, it's definitely not a deal-breaker.

The rooms are nicely decorated and a decent size, with coffee and a kitchenette. the staff is really helpful. the pool area is great. the location is magnificent and good for a weekend in Lake Placid. It's within walking distance to a convenience store and there are more convenience stores across the street.
